We offer maize, potato, oxidized, thin boiling and pre-gel starch, green & cold bond adhesives, cationic monomers, UF resins & poly electrolytes. Maize starch is used in the pharmaceutical industry, as a dusting media for various types of coating, as well as binders & fillers for capsules, where active ingredients are hygroscopic and are difficult to dry after wet binding. It is used in the textile industry to provide stiffness & to add weight to cloth. It is also used in conjunction with thermoplastic/thermosetting resins to obtain a permanent finish. It is used in sizing, to strengthen the warp yarn, in finishing and changing the appearance of fabric after it is bleached, dyed/printed & to increase the consistency of printing pastes. Cationic starch is a wet end starch used in paper & paper board manufacturing to increase its internal strength properties, as well as retention of fillers & fines. It is also used by the manufacturers of AKD emulsions. It has a cationic charge attached to it, that improves the internal strength properties of the paper by forming a strong bond between the fibers. The electro kinetic attraction promotes better contact between the anionic cellulose fiber surfaces and the starch hydroxyls groups.
